The US Department of War is partnering with industry and academia on a multiphase CTMA initiative to reduce the impacts of counterfeit parts and products on business operations and viability. The overall goal is to provide critical infrastructure that enhances prototype experiment and testing requirements focused on counterfeit detection activities.

Phase III will build on the successes of earlier phases in developing warehouse and support node improvements, including the potential expansion to other locations, and integrate new Mobile Assurance Labs (MAL) capabilities into the prototype.
